< BackMadrid, Spain | 23-25 October 2026
PRIME-ROSE partners will present a strong portfolio of scientific and policy-focused research at the ESMO Congress 2026 in Madrid, highlighting how collaborative European initiatives are advancing precision cancer medicine and expanding access to innovative treatments for patients with cancer.
Across poster and proffered paper sessions, investigators from PRIME-ROSE partner studies and related European initiatives will share new findings from precision oncology trials, drug repurposing programs, and implementation research. The presentations demonstrate the growing impact of cross-border collaboration in generating evidence for molecularly guided therapies beyond traditional indications.
Friday,23 October | Poster Session (15:15-16:00)
The session will feature results from several leading European precision oncology trials:
ProTarget (Denmark):
DETERMINE (UK):
• 1036P - Alectinibas a tumour-agnostic intervention for ALK fusion-positive cancers: The DETERMINE trial (Matthew G. Krebs)
FINPROVE (Finland):
• 4470P - First Readout from FINPROVE: Stage 1 Completed Cohorts (Katriina Jalkanen)
DRUP (The Netherlands):
• 4489P - Efficacy of panitumumab monotherapy in patients with advanced or metastatic RAS/RAF wild-type (wt) tumors: Results from the Drug Rediscovery Protocol (DRUP) (Aaltje E. Evertse)
Sunday,25 October | Proffered Paper Sessions
Two oral presentations will highlight the clinical impact and policy implications of precision oncology:
Session: Policy Room: Seville Auditorium – NCC at 10:15 - 11:45
Session: CNS tumours Room: Murcia Auditorium - Hall 3 at 10:15 -11:45

PRIME-ROSE:
Advancing Precision Oncology Through Collaboration
Together, these presentations reflect the shared ambition of PRIME-ROSE and its partners: generating robust evidence for precision oncology approaches, facilitating cross-border learning, and supporting more equitable access to innovative cancer treatments across Europe.
We look forward to engaging with colleagues and stakeholders in Madrid and discussing how collaborative research can help translate scientific discoveries into better outcomes for patients.
